The Grassland Society of NSW was formed in March 1985 at a meeting of 28 interested people. Membership has grown rapidly since then to over 500 members, most of whom are farmers and graziers. The Grassland Society of NSW is now the premier organisation for transfer of information and technology relevant to pasture, grazing and land management. The aims of the Society are to advance the investigation of problems affecting grassland husbandry and to encourage the adoption into practice of results of research and practical experience.
